You can add Google Ad's to your MyBB Forum using plug-in and once your forum site becomes more established you will make enough google revenue to upgrade your hosting etc and your site will pay for itself.

There are a lot of free host, the only down side is that you have to use there domain extension.

Honestly, I dont have any to suggest but I do have to warn you.
Stay away from free hosting, it always misses something. It is either down alot, or doesent have 30% of the functions paid those.
