Sharecash can be really great but it depends where you are putting your links. I have tried using youtube before and failed because people think the surveys are some kind of a virus.

Are you referring to FB ads, pages, both, etc.? The ads can be very beneficial if you set your budget right and diversify your testing. T & S - test and scale.

You may also want to split-test your networks on the same CPA campaign. Then you'll get a wider idea of what offers your traffic is converting on, EPC comparison, etc.
