Sorry to hear that Lacy, but here's the thing:
Don't forget that Woofie doesn't know what is going on, what you all are trying to give him and why. Its not his fault, that's just being a dog for ya. Also, him being mad is probably not the reason for refusing to eat. More than likely, he is just lacking appetite because he is not feeling well.
There's not much you can do other than give him time, make sure he takes his medication, using reasonable force if necessary and bring him into the Animal Hospital if he gets worse.
