You'd have to make them download it first. Most Linux Browsers have protection against Drive-by Downloads.
Then you'd have to trick the user into giving the virus/spyware/trojan or its launcher executable permissons.
Then you'd have to CHMOD all the files you want to change.
And because most Linux users are well informed on permissions and running as Root, It would stop the virii at step 1. Easy-peasy.
