Linux Question
#1
This is rather an open-question for MiNT, or any other Linux users,
but I can't seem to get any help with this problem, and can't figure it out myself,
so if someone could point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.

I downloaded audacity and went to the readme to read on how to install it.
It says in the readme, quote:
Quote:To compile on Linux, Mac OS X, and other Unix systems,
simply execute these commands:

./configure
make
make install # as root

To see compile-time options you can set, you can type
"./configure --help".

If you want to do any development, you might want to generate
a configure cache and header dependencies:

./configure -C
make dep

I do not know how to execute the ./configure command, and have as much knowledge as where to type it.

i tried typing it in the terminal, and no success.
I've tried everything I can think of, and can't figure it out, so MiNT,
if you can help, please give me a hand Smile
