Localhost is just on your computer.
You don't have to worry
about any of that.
What you need to do, is download MyBB 1.2.1 and extract the zip file,
go to the "Upload" folder, and upload everything that is in that folder, to /forum or /mybb on
your website (server).
Now, once you upload everything, you need to go to phpmyadmin
(which you should have on your server, since you have wordpress installed, or you might
have cPanel to manage your MySQL Databases.)
But anyhow, you need to create a new
MySQL Database, and name it "mybb" (without quotes), for instance.
Once you have the
database made, go to: http://www.myoklahomalife.net/yourdir/install/
That should be the
setup for your MyBB Board.
Click next on the pages until you come to the Database Setup,
and put in your database name and password (usually your ftp password).
Leave the table
to mybb_
Now, click next and let the tables create, and finish the rest of the
setup.
The you have your board setup, and can start managing.
(And come back to
here and read this when having problems )
