The original purpose
behind the forum was to have it available in case the local one that I post on craters. I also
wanted it so people could comment on the blogs since I have comments disabled. Also, Sister
Spot and I are developing a web site with photo album, message board, etc. for our family and
I wanted her to look at SMF. I'm not too wild about it either but it has better security than
MyBB and security is a real concern since people will be putting addresses, phone numbers,
pictures of the kids, etc. on it.
