The Hardest Part

The hardest part of loving you,
Is giving you my best,
Is falling for you so fast,
Is not knowing what to do,
Is loving you no more or any less,
And hoping it will last.

The hardest part of loving you,
Is the moments I warmly remember,
Is the times when time is no longer,
Is looking into the endless seas of blue,
Is coming to know who you are,
And hoping this love will get stronger.

The hardest part of letting go,
Is the memories of the past,
Is being lost without you,
Is experiencing the pain that follows,
Is knowing I loved with every breath I had,
And yet, knowing there's nothing I can do.

The hardest part of letting go,
Is holding you in my arms,
Is looking back into the deep sparkling sea,
Is holding your hand in the moonlit glow,
Is looking back at the countless heavenly stars,
And realizing it was all a dream.
