I always feel that way, I'm starting to come to the terms that I can't own a site like Support Forums and expect it to be active within the first week. Or the first month. Or the first few months.
It just takes time, and you have to have the interest to do it all, it's not just a "I'm going to learn to do something. Then I'll do it. And become famous". It takes alot of tiem and effort. But it's rewarding.
That's why I decided to start so early. I got into computers when I was 11. I first started learning Batch then, but if you asked me anything about it now, I'd be like "umm.. ping google.com? ". It just didn't stick because I didn't have the desire to do it.
But yes, starting easly was a great decision, and with Grizzly and iintens to help me, I've learnt alot about websites and domaining. Like I said recently, I own 6 domains at the moment. And I'm in the process of developing them.
Lol exact opposite for me. I started at 11 also, and immediatly dove into html, css, xhtml, etc. Now the best i can do is <table><td><tr>.... Then i started programming and I love it, the logic and everything. And I agree, whenever you see someone who is successful they always say "Yes I started playing guitar at 7" I think I made the right choice doing this early, gives me plenty of time to "go pro"
