Lol Elektrisk.
Personally, I think everyone should be talked to about suicide before they try to do it. Explain that their issues are only temporary and suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. If you are under 25 I don't think they should give you the option of killing yourself. You've had no real life experience to think of. If you are under 25 and you try to kill yourself or you actually want to you should be admitted for help. Sorry. I don't think a kid should be able to do it. If you're an adult by all means, you know what your life goals are.
Me personally, I wouldn't kill myself. I've been depressed before. I have PTSD. And I have been depressed since being diagnosed with PTSD. But, I have never thought about killing myself. There really is nothing good that comes of it, unless you really have completed all your life goals. I want grandkids, and great grand kids. So, I plan on living a long life. I also have several things I want to complete before I die. I want to go to Australia. I've already seen 3/4 of Europe so that box is checked. I have never been to Canada, want to visit there for a couple weeks as well. I have a few things I want to do professionally before I die as well.
But, the way I look at is is when older people have done everything they want to in life, and are ready to die. They don't let people fuss over them in a hospital, they don't want to be resuscitated. It's the same thing.
I think no one should stand in the way of a person wanting to kill themselves, but, everyone should get some kind of counseling before they do it.
