I found a slot on the back of the cdrom, But it's not a switch, do I have to plug something into it?

I know I know I'm such an idiot :-(

** sorry for spelling mistakes, the iPhone doesn't have a great keyboard.

**** Got'cha! finally got both of them on with the atati drive as primary slave! Just need some more ram and were in business! Thanks for your help!
