Life is what you make of it.
People make money from sitting on the street, and I will be damned if most of them aren't the nicest guys I have ever seen. They are thankful for $5. $5. That is a Christmas present to them. They sit in in the baking sun, sleep in the freezing cold, and do it again the next day. Yet they still have a great attitude. Things get worse before they get better. You need to realize that moping around isn't the way to go about life. Go out of city/state and look for a job. Apply to Microsoft's Xbox LIVE Support center, apply to PayPal's Resolution Center. You can apply to lots of places, and if you do actually have all the knowledge that you said you do, they shouldn't turn you down even with your background.
