So no, I don't find smoking bad or something that somebody needs to quit.
Even drinking coffee can lead to side effects, but I don't see people making a big deal about that. It's just a "hate wagon" crap about smoking.
But the issue here is that you take that as a reason for why smoking can't be bad for you just because you don't know of anyone personally. Drinking coffee is not even nearly as bad as smoking. There's no chemicals in coffee comparable to that of the ones in a cigarette. That's just silly to compare the two in my opinion.
