I am thinking of buying a new back cover and silent switch from ebay. This is because my back cover is cracked in various places and is coming away, also the silent switch does not work at all and my phone is stuck on silent. How hard is it to replace them?
I tried going to the apple store and they didn't say anything about a replacement iPhone, they said it would cost £190 to fix if I sent it off. Do I need some sort of guarantee or waranty to get a replacement iPhone as I bought it second hand?
