I have googled it before but every site says something different.
What can/should I do for storing my car in the garage durring winter?
I would prefer not to spend any money on doing this, but I guess I can set a budget of $200 for it if it is really needed.
First off, You're going to want a car cover and even after you put the car cover on cover your car with a tarp. Make sure you put a plastic bag over you altinator and air/cold air intake. everything else should be A ok. When you come back to your car after winter it may not start up right away you may have to jump it or just turn the key a few times. Syphen your gas out because it may fudge up your fuel injector or pump as iv heard stories of that happening or you could have a full tank and use a fuel stabilizer. If i were you I would wrap my rims with little tarps just to be safe. You may also want to park it onto of some sort of sheet of wood or else youll for ever have 4 tire marks in your yard. Make sure you clean your interior and I would put towels over your seats if they're leather because iv heard it helps stop tear(I'm not 100% sure about that its just what iv'e heard but it cant hurt right?) Thats all i can think of at the moment. Pm me for further questions.
