CCleaner is very different, as I'm very familar with that as well.

If you look at XP-AntiSpy, there are a lot of unecessary services you can disable, which you cannot disable with CCLeaner!

Apart from the cleaning/shredding etc features of CCleaner, it only gives you the option to uninstall or remove applications from statrup.
