hello,I'm currently having problems with this HP G60-458DX. I created the recovery discs and replaced the hard-drive because the hard-drive went bad.
The recovery discs were corrupted. I copied the recovery partition onto a 15GB partition in the new drive and attempted to run the recovery utility in the BIOS but to no avail, i get error 1002. I upgraded the BIOS and now the recovery manager does not even show up. Can i just burn the recovery partition onto a bootable ISO? Please help me out with some technical suggestions. I know i can order the recovery discs, this is not a big deal to me so please lets keep negative and useless information from the thread.
