The address bar of your web browser stores all your search and visiting history. If you need to share your computer with others then it is better to clean the address bar due to privacy reason. The same you should do if you are using any public computer. After completing your browsing, clean the address bar. It is very easy to perform this task and this is very important to ensure your privacy on a shared computer.
Let’s take a look at how to clean address bar in Firefox.


• Step 1: Open a Firefox Web browser.
• Step 2: Then click “Tools” in the toolbar and select “Clear Recent History” to access the menu.
• Step 3: You need to select “Everything” from the “Time range to clear” drop-down box.
• Step 4: Next, click the arrow next to “Details” to display a list of items to clear.
• Step 5: Click all the check boxes next to “Browsing & Download History” and “Form & Search History”.
• Step 6: Click “Clear Now” to clean your address bar history.
Let’s take a look at how to clean address bar in Internet Explorer.
• Step 1: First, open the Internet Explorer Web browser.
• Step 2: Click “Tools” in the toolbar.
• Step 3: To open the Options menu click “Internet Options”.
• Step 4: Now select the “General” tab and “Delete” under “Browsing History”.
• Step 5: For clearing the address bar history, click the “Delete History” button.
