Download a portable firefox to a usb and you can probably get past the firewall with that program. You can try viewing cached versions as well, and you might be able to view pages that way, otherwise try pinging a site with command if you have it open, or remember the IP and navigate to it through the url address bar, in case they block websites via url strings.
