Quote:There are 7 girls on a bus. Each girl has 7 backpacks and in each backpack there are 7 big cats. For every big cat there are 7 little cats. How many legs are there in the bus?
(7 girls) x (2 legs) = 14 female legs
(7 girls) x (7 backpacks) x (7 big cats) x (4 legs) = 1372 big cat legs
(1372 big cat legs) / 4 = 343 big cats
(343 big cats) x (7 little cats) x (4 legs) = 9604 little cat legs
Total legs = 14 + 343 + 9604 = 9961 legs?
Did I miss something? lol... I see the trick here!! one or more of the cats has a disorder that enables them to have 5 legs!!
It's tricky using the computer calculator.
Each girl has 2 legs, 7 girls makes 14 female legs. Each girl has 7 backpacks (for some reason), and each backpack has 7 big cats. For all of those big cats there are 7 little cats... I thought I had it down right. KoBE you didn't dream of a bus that had legs itself did you? lol
I GOT IT!!
Code:
(7 * 2) + (7 * 7 * 7 * 4) + (7 * 7 * 7 * 7 * 4) = 10990
