If you're stuck on 2.2.1 firmware, you're going to have to upgrade to 3.1.2, which costs $5.00, pretty good deal considering it was $10.00 a while ago. Make sure you back up anything you need, I'm pretty sure it will ask you before upgrading.

Also, what OS are you running?

im on 3.1.2 and im on a mac
