I was in exactly the same position as you earlier on this year. Some of the best advice I could give you (I've lost 25lbs since Feb which is pretty good I'd say) is think to yourself, am I actually hungry? Sometimes we can mistake thurst for hunger, so try having a drink first. Also, try and find a cheap local gym you can attend, I go to my gym 2-3 times per week and it has definitly made a difference to my fat loss and muscle gain.
