When I need to calm down I generally do 1 of 2 things. I feel calmer in nature environments or water. So if I ever need to calm down I usually go to my backyard and just stare at the trees or listen to the birds. Lakes are also a source of calm for me. If I'm by my house I usually just walk a little bit to a lake by my house and just watch the water.
Solitude and calmness calm me down and give me time to think and clear my mind.
Music tends to get me more upbeat/agitated, good for projects and trolling through work. Not so good for calming down
