That doesn't quite make sense to me.
Are you saying that leaving someone because they're depressed/sad is
"human nature"? That sounds ass-backwards if you ask me, Quite honestly
most creatures have nurturing hardwired into to them to make them WANT
to care for people who are broken/depressed/down/sad/hurt.
I'm not saying people *don't* leave people because of depression, I'm
just saying that I doubt that doing so is hardwired into anyone. If that
were the case do you honestly think we would (For the most part) be
monogamous creatures? That's even how things work in the animal kingdom,
Without that natural ideal we'd all abandon our kids at birth,
and ditch our spouses after sex. That's just not how things work.

You still didn't read what I said. They may try to help for the first little while, but do you not think that while your depressed, that you'll be more clingy than usual. I can guarantee that lots of girls don't want that 100% of the time. Read my post more carefully. People want to help, but not when it comes to relationships. That would make it a one sided effort, and it takes the effort from both people to make a relationship successful. If you have to hold the person up all of the time, that would make it a pretty saddening relationship, and I doubt any girl would put up with it forever.
