Xbox 360, since it's simply a much better console than the only other real alternative which is the PS3. The Wii is left out, since it sucks and has virtually no proper online play.
The PS3 may be more powerful than the XBox 360 but it doesn't get to use that power very often since they make all the main games for BOTH the 360 and PS3. The exclusives, in my opinion, mostly suck for the PS3 too. The Xbox 360, despite being less powerful, actually lets you use a multitude of other features that the PS3 doesn't allow.
For example, you can listen to music while playing any game or doing anything on the 360. You can also have a private chat with any friends while, again, doing anything on the 360, even if you're both playing different games. You also have party chat, which allows you to do just that with 7 other people, all in different games, whebver you want. The PS3 can't do any of that, and I don't see why not.
Xbox 360 also gets DLC before the PS3 most of the time, and even some exclusive DLC. It's just way better.
