Major Dave, tbh .. your second part was not funny. ( if this was intended )
and, i know it was an opinion, and so should the rest, this is just for entertainment

It wasn't intended to be funny. I wasn't making a joke. I was stating an honest opinion.

And I didn't find the allegations that his second wife, Elaine, abused him, both physically as well as mentally, amusing either.

I have great respect for him and his work, but also feel that being traumatized may have effected his judgement. Oh, and that wasn't a reference to his physical affliction either.
