Suicide threats -
I would be better off dead.
Nobody would even miss me if i were dead.
My family/friends would be better off without me. They need to use there money elsewhere.

Giving away prized possession (that would usually never be given away)

hobbies (equipment for like a sport or guitar, etc.)

Actually discussing and going over funeral plans.
Giving notes to a friend asking to take care of something.
Previous Suicidal Attempts -
4/5 successful suicides are not the first attempt.
Physical multation (cutting) is a sign of wanting to hurt yourself that can then become suicide
Depression -
Feeling sad for long periods of time.
Feeling of being alone or no one caring.
Changes in sleeping habits. To much/little.
Eating Disorders. See Mental Disorders in my threads.
Sudden change in behavior -
Quiet becomes loud/obvious.
Loud becomes quiet/reserved.
Gentle becomes aggressive.
Outgoing becomes withdrawn.
Changes in grades and/or attendance in school.
Tell a trusted adult rather than worrying about making your friend/family mad by "telling."
Stay with someone who shows signs of suicidal behavior.
Be a good friend/listener, do not give advice. (What you think is good advice is probably bad advice, so shut up.)
Help the person avoid situations where drugs, alcohol and sex are available.
Stress to the friend/family member that there life is more important to you and other people.
Restrice access to anything harmful.
Encourage them to seek professional help fast.
