It's not all about oil, if needed, we would simply drill in other areas.
It's not overrated, but it is blown out of proportion, the terrorists control our economy now, and we are in basically in their control.
Osama Bin Laden is an extremely intelligent individual, and he knows how to get around security, they added increased security following the attempted WTC bombing in the parking garage, so he ordered the hijacking of a plane because it had never been done on that scale before, and our security was not prepared for it.
We are prepared for an airline attack, but we are vulnerable to economic, cyber, and biochemical attacks.
