You may think you don't want a social life just because you haven't experienced it successfully but it is a proven fact that humans need social interaction with others.
Solitary confinement is a great debate because when sent there your brain function changes pretty dramatically. Your body starts to crave social interaction an the longer you're avoiding it the less comfortable you will be when you get back into it.
No social interactions does have it's side effects depression being one of them. If you don't receive positive reinforcement in social situations there is a possibility that you will start to act out to receive negative interactions.
Your brain prefers interaction over none even if it's negative.
