You need to have FTP access to the server you are on. Just uploading it to a random server won't cut it. It's really not hard at all to upload the files. Just upload the upload folder to the root directory of the site. Make sure you have an SQL database before you do this, as it is required to run MyBB.

After it's uploaded go to
Code:
yourdomain.tld/install

What kind of problems are you having. You have to be specific.
