Yes mate. A suggestion i put out long ago was the thanks system to get rid of this problem but it got shot down back when i started that thread.
I think this thread has honestly highlighted the problem to a point i feel it will be addressed. I know Omni gets annoyed by this. Hell any system he implements people will find a way to abuse it.
Ultimately though i feel something that takes away any - option will remove 90% of the hate.
And hate on SF is really a bad thing and needs to be nipped in the bud any time it appears.
