When anonymous reps were first applied here, Omniscient intended it as a way to prevent 'revenge rep' which was considered 'rep abuse' at HF at that time. The policy at HF has since changed, and 'revenge rep' is now considered a valid response there. However, the policy here at SF has not changed. Staff do not remove any rep - not even our own.
There has been much discussion about anonymous reps here. Members who receive anonymous reps have no way of talking it over with the rep-giver, and members who give anonymous reps are not answerable for their opinions.
