Bookmarks have disappeared

Hello all

Last week my precious bookmarks list mysteriously evaporated - ie: all items
except the little yellow folders, whose contents thankfully appear to be intact. This event appeared to coincide with an automatic update of Firefox which I agreed to thinking it was a good idea. Are they still out there on my hard drive somewhere? Does anyone know if or how I might restore them?

They might be, try going to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\defaults\profile and opening Bookmarks.html.

It worked on mine...

PS. If C is where you have Firefox installed, if not, go to the drive you have installed it on and follow the rest of the path!

Yes. On whatever drive you installed Firefox on..

So,

as FW said:

C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\defaults\profile and

opening Bookmarks.html.

Only it will be:
WHATEVERDRIVE:\Program

Files\Mozilla Firefox\defaults\profile and opening Bookmarks.html.
