uninstall firefox

How would I uninstall firefox completely. Where

would I look in the registry? Or does add and remove deletes it all from the reg. Had a rootkit from sony in the putter. Need to uninstall firefox and then

reinstall it. I have to make sure nothing is left in the browser. Going to do it to ie also, which doesn't get used anyway. Which i believe I can just repair it

and hope nothing is in it to call home. I'm just being carefull or over kill. lol. I do not want to reformat xp.The rootkit is gone now it just getting on line that

is the problem. I'm on dsl and it's like dial up. Thanks for the help and info.

Add/Remove and Check the registry to

make sure.

[FirefoxWiz]

Add/Remove, then go to My Computer >

*Drive* > Program Files > Delete the folder named Mozilla Firefox. All is gone!

Firefox

This should take you to the registry file (if any left).
