GoMadden.com -- Football Video Gaming
#1
Our GoMadden site has been up for a little over 60 days now, and we just launched a site re-design. Used an existing free theme and customized it pretty heavily to fit our needs.

http://gomadden.com/ -- Football video gaming news, tips and community site.

Things it needs off the top of my head:
Paged navigation on front page for more news
Publish date on front page
Category navigation to order properly (not sure why it won't order correctly)

Any other thoughts are welcome.

I found the direct link here: http://gomadden.com/forums/

Looks good. My thoughts:

-- Adjust the "Who's Online" statistics to 30 or 60 minutes. More activity looks more attractive to visitors.
-- Grammar error for "Who Have Been Registered Today" which should be "Who Registered Today" instead.
-- Merge "Product Reviews" and add to "General Discussion" category.
-- Merge "Site Bugs, Support & Suggestions" and add to "Official Links" category.
-- Remove "Forum Stats" from view.

My suggestions are from the point of view that, given the number of members and activity, there are too
many boards. "Board Statistics" suffice for information and "Forum Stats" is unnecessary clutter.

Pages are easy to navigate and the community appears friendly. I wish you well with growing your forum.

Sorry! I actually was referring to the front page, not the forums! But thanks for the tips. I agree with most of them.

I've always hated sport-type video games. I think it's because I don't really follow sports in real life. They just don't entertain nor interest me that much. Don't get me wrong. I love watching basketball, football, and baseball, but I won't be the guy who knows who the entire special teams line-up of the Seattle Seahawks or every single player picked up by every single team at the Draft this year.

Hmm its a rather nice, clean design. I'm not a fan of the orange, if it was a little lighter it might look better.
I like the news scroller, thing at the top of the page. And the GoogleAds placement is weird, but, sure! :p

Overall nice site.
I wish you luck. ;P
