I Hate wow because you got to wait AGES to download it , which fucks up my bandwidth.
I think you should make the judgment based on the gameplay, not how long it takes to download -__- WoW constantly gets new features, updates, expansions, and so on. Botting is less frequent, and there're 7 classes (iirc) to choose from. From what I've seen, on RS, you just level up different skills with no class. That's not very attractive to me at all. I'd rather be able to choose a focus.

skill based games are so much more awesome then level based games imo.
ultima online was skilled based with 700 skill points max, and most points you could get in a skill was 100(best), so you could be a mage and a swordsman if you wanted, i thought that aspect was so awesome ^^

Yeah, but look at RuneScape; its skills are like "firemaking", "woodcutting", and so on.

ultima online has lumberjacking and camping too, camping gives the benefits of instantly logging off while not inside an inn(usually when you log off it takes like 3 minutes for your character to leave the world), the lumberjacking = wood and 25% bonus damage while using axxes ^^(while at 100 skill atleast)
i call copyright infringement on runescape!! stealing all of ultima online's ideas!!

WoW is much better, you can socialize better and its just more fun. I've played both and WoW is definitely the best.

Granted, WoW has similar "skills" called "professions", but iirc, you only have 4 professions. They're like jewelcrafting (to make trinkets and such), riding (for mounts), and more. It's been a while since I have played.
