Truck... worth it?

I love driving my grandfather's truck. And it's scary? How..? The skeleton of trucks are far more safer than a regular car.

I meant scary like on the looks and the weather might cause problem on controlling them. It is up to you though. If you are rich you can get it.

I'm not rich (hopefully my family will be a bit wealthy sooner or later). I am going to get my grandfather's Ford F150

I think Trucks are scary and hard to control. Cars however are easier and better looking than trucks. You might also struggle on Icy conditions but it depends on were you live. So overall cars could save you more money and are easier to use.

So Trucks are not worth it.

If you like to destroy the environment, you can buy which car you want but that is not recommended. I recommend you to buy a BioCar. A car powered by Bio fuel. We people have to think about more what we are driving. Normally we drive a car by yourself but in a car you have space for 4-5 people. But its almost only you in that car when you are driving to the work.

So my tip is buy a car powered by Bio fuel OR go for a bus or for the train.

I've had a F-150 extended cab, long bed for 9 years now. My father was the first owner and I've adopted it. No problems whatsoever. Very tough truck. Give them a try.

I know people with ford trucks that have over 200,000 miles on them, and that's on the original engine! The bodies on Ford trucks though usually aren't that great and rust quickly (except for my husband's which has a special protective coating.)

Oh, and the gas mileage SUCKS! My husband's truck only gets about 14 mpg, which is why we BOTH prefer to drive my 28mpg minivan instead. My minivan has a much nicer, smoother ride too, and seats 7, while is also good for hauling drywall and all other kind of building material, as well wonderful for camping.

I have absolutely no idea why anyone wouldn't prefer a minivan.

No offense to you or your vehicle, but it might be because people want to look more... you know, "cooler" in a supped up Mustang or something on the lines of that. I'm looking for a truck, mainly because I want to be safe. Not to look "cooler", but I'd rather be in a truck, than a car.
