I think that a change of font would go along way.

I'll look into changing the default font of the page, and see what that does.

EDIT: I tried monospace, and it looks kind of neat.

Hmm, it's nice, but Black on Blue is a fial, looks pretty weird. And yeah, you should change the font, try using Heletica, Segoe UI, Tahoma, Verdana or Calibri, whichever looks better.
