Dual Screen Multitasking Help

Hey guys I'm on Windows 7 right now and I want to know if this is possible. I want to watch a movie on my first screen in fullscreen and do something else on the other screen. If I do something else on the other screen while the movie on the first screen is full screen then the movie goes to regular screen mode.

Example :
I want to do stuff on the left screen without changing the right screen's movie to regular screen.

Yeah I'm pretty sure you can. I saw how to set up a dual screen once. You need this one thing that has multiple jacks for VGA's and it has a little flip switch on it I believe. I only saw it once, so I'm not too sure about it.
