Do you like clunky loud keyboards? or quiet keyboards?

I like proper keyboards, I don't really care if they make a noise but I have to get a proper tactile response from it so I know I hit they key right. I hate the Mac keyboards for this, you can never tell if you are actually using the things or just hitting air.

I had a problem with this when I went from my desktop wireless keyboard (louder) to my laptop keyboard. My laptop keyboards keys were slick, smooth, and quiet. I preferred my other keyboard with the keys sticking out and making some noise!
