Auto Hide feature

I would like to know if it is possible to make the taskbar show up faster while using auto hide. Is there a way without using third party software and just by tweaking the registry? I have searched google, but could not find anything.

It shows up almost instantly when you run the mouse over it, well it does on mine.

Not sure how your pc is setup. But you can try this.
Right click on My computer/Properties/Advanced/Performance settings and tweek your settings there. Take away fade etc.
