Look up tutorials on the internet. Using commas correctly is the hardest thing to do, in my opinion. All the other stuff you should have learned in your early years of school.

Are you in school? If not, believe it or not, being on HF and forums promoting the use of proper grammar, really helps.

Hackforums hardly promotes proper grammar. The amount of times I have seen "Capitalized Letters At The Start Of Each Word In A Sentence" is just ridiculous.
I would recommend getting some books to read each night before you go to sleep, not only can it improve your grammar over time but it has been proven to help calm the mind ready for sleep.

Something I see mixed up all the time is eg and ie

"E.g." means "for example" and comes from the Latin expression exempli gratia, "for the sake of an example," with the noun exemplum in the genitive (possessive case) to go with gratia in the ablative (prepositional case). "E.g." is used in expressions similar to "including," when you are not intending to list everything that is being discussed.

"I.e." stands simply for "that is," which written out fully in Latin is 'id est'. "I.e." is used in place of "in other words," or "it/that is." It specifies or makes more clear.

You should read as much as possible, and pick books by English authors, instead of American authors. Your grammar will automatically improve.
