The game that wasted the most of my life would have to be either Counter Strike 1.6 or Runescape.

Yes they were fun, but I spent way too much time on the both.

I've spent so many years on that game, I started in 2005 and just recently quit in 2011.
I look back and just tell myself ... why?

Modern Warfare 2 has consumed over 90 days worth of my life, that's a crazy amount. Also Skyrim is starting to take a hold of me, having it on both console and PC is crazy. I can't escape it.

It would be undoubtedly the elder scrolls series or the fallout series. In both games i have a total of more than 3k hours.
