No, I think it's just personal preference, but there's not that many sections that would make it frustrating for a user to scroll up and down at this point. You won't see tabbed forums for any large forum out there though either, although i'm sure if they wanted they could integrate it quite easily. For some reason it just remains unseen though, with the exception of HF.

Spent $40 on a new theme for TechLifeForum, as well as gave out our first nomination for a Member of the Month award. Nearing 1000 members soon, and lots of great content.

It is a nice theme, it was exclusive to start with, and it's already been slightly customized by me and KoBE on top of that.
