Thoughts about .xxx domains?
#11
I never really bothered with them. I think if you get some good porn ones it will benefit you in the future though!

I do think if .xxx domains became revolutionary however for porn sites though that it would be beneficial for protecting children against that kind of content. Browsers could then have parental controls to block all .xxx domains and require a password. Then the actual IP of those sites could be parsed out before page load and check for their origin to see if it's a .xxx domain if someone wanted to check a url by using the IP of the site, and it could still be passworded. Passwords though should be on a standard local location on the computer, so that newly downloaded browsers couldn't have to be configured for parental controls individually if parents wanted it set up.

If you registered things like these domains you will get a profit:
se.xxx
sex.xxx
porn.xxx
tube.xxx
xxx.xxx
Yum.xxx
Etc...

Vouch that there is no adult material Thumbsup

I don't own a .xxx website, but I can see how they could be beneficial for the future.

I know, but originally they weren't meant to be as they are supposed to be considered a premium selective domain.

I see that the .xxx registrar made some decent cash off Universities and major brands already but not sure if it'll really hold it's ground with the adult industry as I doubt that most sites will switch over to .xxx even if it's available.

I do think it's a step in the right direction as far as filtering content goes for minors but at the same time it's still a bit pointless as there are a lot of shady x-rated sites on .com that actually trick you with misleading urls and whatnot. Those sites are probably the ones that kids access by accident and I doubt they would go to .xxx
gaming forum for n00bs and pros alike.
