resizing screenshots
#1
Can anyone tell me how I can resize a screen shot image? I'm running OS X if that makes a difference. The option to crop is available in Preview, but it doesn't allow me to whether the image is in a PDF, PNG, or JPEG format. Any help would be awesome! Thank you!Thumbsup

Can't you crop it then using Photoshop or Gimp. Gimp is free.

How could I have not known about Gimp for this long?! I honestly don't know how I lived this long without having this program! Thank you - you made my day!

Lol... was going to mention GIMP. But if you don't have the money to pay for Photoshop (or the time to install a cracked version) I'd recommend it as a stripped down free version; it isn't super fantabulous but it gets the job done in a time of need Big Grin

Thank you for this. This seems to be a little faster when in a hurry.

Well if you are going to take a screenshot, you CAN use Command+shift+4 and it will let you chose the size.

If you want it uploaded to an image hosting website to share it on forums, i would say use my image hosting script, if you click the Preferences icon you can resize it to the size you want.

Command + Shift + 3 for a full screen grab
Command + Shift + 4 for a selectible screen grab
Command + Shift + CTRL + 3 || 4 for full screen/selectable screen grab that copies to the clipboard.

If you're talking about resizing the picture for size/pixels, use preview by double clicking the image and using Tools->Adjust Size.

Hope this helps.
