In that one guys thread he said spamming posts leads to bans. Do they still do that or are the posts just deleted?

From what I've seen before heavy spammers usually get banned and don't get their award on HF, but I don't know if that's still enforced as much now. I see Omni reduced his staff to two other people, used to be a lot more earlier.

I guess it's the main reason most people join this forum, but not mine. I normally lurk and post a little once in a while, i don't care about the award.

But perhaps people will learn, eventually, that spamming to get the award is pointless and it just makes you unable to get the award, ever. The award is there for a reason, for those who makes 100 HQ posts here. Not many makes it, so those who do are actually special and they earned the award.

But i do understand why so many hates the award for this, people join to get the award, and spams pointless crap all over the forum. But it's a good award and it has a point. It's not easy to get the award unless you're dedicated to this forum and active.

Hopefully someone will come up with a way to solve this issue eventually. But i do understand your frustration despite my lack of activity.

Well, I think your right about HF members coming here for the feather. But, Omni won't give the feather if he knows thats the only reason. I think you got to be someone active and have decent quality post.

I think the SF Award is good. Omni knows that some kids will post 100 posts just because to get the award. And? He freakin don't care. SF will get more posts and activity.

Just look at the most recent posts and you can see that half of these people are posting in month or even YEAR old threads.

If by two people you mean Fragma and Quintus, you're only talking about Fragma. Quintus has not been online in several months, and only moderates a subforum that no one can post in, since it's HJT Crew and exclusive and there ARE NO HJT Crew members.
Fragma is by far the best staff here, and he's very good about keeping the forum clean to the best of his abilities. Another moderator to help him might be the best.

I came to know that there is one more sectional mod called as Quintus since I haven't seen him online at all. Fragma is doing a great job , he's actually dedicated towards the forum and keeping it clean.
