I have heard Bose headphones are awesome but quite expensive.

I use Skullcandy Lowriders. I suggest you try them out, they're not half bad. The quality is good & they aren't extremely fragile like the Beats by Dre. They're in a reasonable price range, too.

I use the Ultrasone headphone at my home.Ultrasone have really good sound quality and can be adjusted on your iPod.At late night i use the headphone for watching the movie.For video chating i also use the headphone because it gives the best clearity of the sound.

Bose or senheiser are good brands. Not sure which headphones exactly though. I loved the Sony mdr xb700's. Amazing bass especially with an amp
