[TuT] How to make a signature [TuT][Noob-friendly]

Heya guys, this is my first tutorial and I'm going to show you how to make this simple signature.



Step 1: We start with creating a new document and fill it with black. Open the render you want to use for your signature and paste it to the desired location.



Step 2: Now duplicate the render layer, select the bottom layer and go to Filter -> Blur -> Gaussian Blur 20-30, then Fliter -> Brush Strokes -> Splatter, Spray radius - 5, Sharpness - 25.

Duplicate this layer two or three times and move it left and right.



Step 3: Now create a new layer below the render and apply the abstract or grunge brush, set the layer to Overlay.



Step 4: Create a new layer and use the brush Soft Round 9 - 10px.

Use the settings in the picture.



Step 5: Get the brush with a color that goes to the signature. For the tutorial I will is use dark green.

Put layers of less visibility (opacity).



Step 6 Make a new layer below the render and repeat the previous step, but with a lighter color. Put layer on Overlay.



Step 7: Add a new layer over this time render, go to Image -> Apply Image. Then Filter -> Sharpen -> Sharpen



Step 8: Now duplicate the top layer and go to Filter -> Blur -> Gaussian Blur -> 4.


Put Layer on Overlay.

The final result must be something like this.



And now just add text and you're done!

I'm using Photoshop CS 3, but you can use any Photoshop to do that.
