I personally think ESET is a really good AV. I have ESET Smart Security and it hasn't given me any problem yet.
Best Anti-Virus?

Avira is very good, I'd say it's worth a try atleast, it's not annoying at all in my opinion =P

I've never been a fan of Norton ever. I personally would recommend NOD32 if you feel like buying an av or you can always crack it I guess. Avira and avast are both decent as far as free av's go.

Nortan is one of the worst anti-virus software's that you can purchase. Imo, you are better off with AVG or something along the lines of that.
If you have Nortan, I would honestly disable it. You are safer without it.

I'm currently running ESET 5 SS and it's pretty good!
Got built-in firewall etc! Don't know if it's the same as the free version (I got paid)

I would recommend BitDefender, it's one of the best if not the best anti-virus you can have. Also, NOD 32 is good as well.
